Isidor Jovanovski

Born: 03.02.1995, Bitola
Profession: Macedonian theater and film actor.

He graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje in 2018, as part of the 2017/18 class, under the mentorship of Professor Zoja Buzalkovska. During his studies and after graduation, he performed in numerous theatre productions across a wide range of genres, including drama, comedy, period drama, experimental theatre, and children’s theatre. Since 2019, he has been a member of the ensemble of the National Theatre “J. H. K. Džinot” in Veles. In addition to his theatre work, he has also appeared in several short and independent film projects, further expanding his acting experience in film.

Theatrical Achievements

Throughout his career, the actor has participated in a large number of significant theatre productions on both national and international stages. He has performed in plays such as The Wretches, The Big Chill, Belgrade Trilogy, How to Make a Man, The White Plague, Christopher Columbus, Švejk in the Second World War, Time for Fun, as well as in various children’s and experimental projects. He has collaborated with renowned directors such as Zoja Buzalkovska, Martin Kochovski, Nina Nikolić, Ljubiša Georgievski, and others. Some of his projects have also been staged abroad, including street theatre and international productions. With a diverse repertoire and continuous presence on stage, he is considered one of the active and prominent actors of the Macedonian theatre scene.
